ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lounseny Soumah is a photographer based in Marseille with Guinean origins. His first exhibition, Limon/Limonade, was presented in Marseille in February 2019 at Milieu Kommun. Exploring the themes of identity and the friendly and fraternal relationship between young men, he refuses to feed the clichés associated with his so-called "difficult" neighborhood and makes it a point of honor to highlight the people depicted in his portraits. He joined the first promotion of Kourtrajme School created in Marseille in 2020 by movie director Ladj Ly.
