ANTIPODE IS AN ONLINE ART GALLERY UNITING A CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY OF ARTISTS, ART LOVERS AND NONPROFITS TO BUILD A POSITIVE FUTURE.
Antipode Gallery is a social enterprise founded by Bettina de Boisse. Positive impact is at the core of our strategy.
Bettina has been a Project Manager for social projects since 2005 working for French nonprofit Autour de l’enfant. She created Antipode Gallery in 2020 after curating several philanthropic exhibitions. Bettina has taken part in many humanitarian missions to implement healthcare, educational and women empowerment programs. With her head in the clouds and feet on the ground, she dreams that everyone becomes a changemaker at their own level for a better future, and that business for good becomes the norm. We trust her keen eye to discover our next artistic crush around the globe and her experience in social programs to select sustainable impact projects.
Why do we exist ?
Because - like you - we want to contribute to a better world. Poverty, inequalities, social exclusion, human rights, humanitarian emergencies, climate change… nonprofits are doing a fantastic job on the field to tackle these issues one by one but struggle to find sufficient funds.
Because we encourage ethical shopping from responsible companies.
Because art should be more environmentally friendly and we believe in artistic creativity to develop sustainable solutions.
Because the art world is still unfair. Less than 14% of living artists represented by galleries in Europe and the US are women. 85% of artists in the main US museums are white. And we believe our cultural heritage depends on representing female artists and minorities.
